For that one, try expeida.com, or aa.com (American). I'm not sure what your definition of cheap is, but heading to Rome is going to cost you a pretty penny! My advice if you want cheap flights, then work for an airline. I went to Moscow, Russia last summer from New Orleans. My total roundtrip was only $300 and that was just Intl. taxes that everyone pays

$761 if you're outbound Oct-March. More expensive in summer. http://www.farecompare.com/search/year.html?departure=BNA&destination=ROM&p=1 Farecompare (the link I made for you) shows the cheapest published fares, but when you choose dates, it also checks against the best "consolidator" or unpublished fares to show you the cheapest options. Choosing Oct 31-Nov 8, for example, found it cheaper at $714 total.

Direct flights no, you will have to stop in Chicago, Newark, New York JFK, Atlanta or Philadelphia first.
