A direct flight is different than a non-stop flight. Nashville, TN would not have a direct or non-stop flight from Lagos. A direct flight stops somewhere else, but carries the same flight number. International Flight numbers are not carried over inside the US. It depends on what airline she flew on to know her routing and travel time. She should have sent you a copy of the itinerary. She could be on Air France and go to Paris, then New York or Atlanta or Cincinatti. She could be on British Air Ways and go to London...there are so many connections she could have, you really need to know the airline she traveled on. From Lagos she would travel to a transit point, most likely in Europe, then to the US. Depending on what airline she could have to connect again somewhere else before arriving in Nashville.
