Try Expedia.com

Canada does not have a border with Nashville, so if someone tries to sell you a ticket there, buyer beware! ;-) But you could buy a ticket from Nashville, TN to Calgary, AB which is only an hour away from the Rocky Mountains. The lowest prices I found were about $500 for a one-stop flight, and as low as $275 if you get a multi-stop flight. There were no non-stop flights, and this is for a one-way ticket as you did not say if you were returning to Nashville after your "virtual" trip. By the way, I'm not sure why you would not be "allowed" to use a site like Expedia instead of having to ask on a place like Yahoo! Answers. All I did as the "world's smart public" was look it up on Expedia instead of you. Seems like your teacher is simply causing you NOT to think for yourself but try to get people to do the work for you...I would think it would be better for you to actually use ALL avenues available to you. And besides, I could be making up the prices and the only way to be sure would be to look at a site like Expedia yourself.

Well it depends which city you want to fly to but Calgary is East of the Rocky Mountains and British Columbia is West. Calgary is the biggest airport for a direct flight, so I would say $400.00-$500 USD for a return flight on United Airlines.

It really depends which airlines that you choose. But with most airlines that serve the USA, you would have to go from Mumbai - London first, as London really is the hub for most of the airlines. From London, you'd have to go to their main hub, some being Dallas, TX., New York, NY., Denver, CO., or Atlanta, GA. Then from there, they'll have a direct flight to Nashville. So 3-4 stops will be the usual. Hope this helps :) -Jessie

It depends on the route, but you have to change planes at least once. You can fly non-stop from Mumbai to the USA, go through Immigration & Customs, and probably fly non-stop from the arrival airport to Nashville. For example, Continental airlines flies non-stop to Newark, there are about 4 1/2 hours between flights, and then flies non-stop to Nashville (different aircraft). www.continental.com If you go through Europe you have to change planes at least twice.

Since only national flights are arriving at the Nashiville International Airport http://www.flynashville.com/flight_info/cities.aspx you cannot tell the time of arrival since it will depend on the airline and the number of stop-overs chosen. Since you did not provide the departure point, some UK airports have direct flight to the states others require additional stop-overs at London or Dublin, it is almost impossible to provide at detailed information. If departed from London around 6:00pm they would have arrived by 9:17am or 11:09 am at Nashville. If departing from another airport and being on a low budget connection with two or more layovers, it may take till 3.59pm to arrive next day, or even longer depending of the layover time.
