I have a connecting flight with 30 minutes to spare, will I make it?
I'm flying from phila to vegas, but I have a connection at Nashville TN, my flight is scheduled to land in Nashville at 5:00pm and then the next flight takes off at 5:30pm. Will I make the connection? Southwest airways setup both flights

You should, as long as you don't waste any time getting between gates at the airport.

cuttin it close...RUUUUUN !!!! Helps if you are in the same terminal and the gates are close. ask the check-in lady for info too...they may be able to tell the nashville to vegas plane that you are on your way if you will poss be just a few minutes late and you are hustling to get there.

As long as the first plane isn't delayed, you should be fine. As was previously noted, though, you'll want to go between gates as soon as you get off the plane.

don't see why not don't panic

No you are going to miss the plane ...........who booked such a bad connection for you?

You should, but you may have to run. On the way to the gate after landing a flight crew member will often read the gate assignments for connecting flights for the passengers. Listen for that so you can get off and head for your gate.

If you're using the same airline, they will notify the next flight that your first flight is arriving at 5pm. I believe they will also notify that flight if you're running late. However, this may change. The good thing is, you don't need to get a boarding pass. The check-in station will give you two passes. I suggest that you run fast. This happened to me in the past and I was so scared that we're going to miss the flight.

Yes you will make it! Nashville is a really big airport though you don't have to run but don't doodle around, you don't have time to shop. Use the bathroom and then go find your plane. My flight was delayed one time and I got there about 5 minutes before the other took off...luckily I only had to go across the hall. Good Luck

shouldn't be a problem, and if you continue your flight with the same airline, there is even a chance they wait for you in case you are delayed. I wouldn't panic, why should they sell you a ticket if it's impossible to catch the next flight? http://www.airplanes.se

You might make it, but a 30 minute connection is risky. It assumes that your inbound flight arrives on time or close to it, which is far from certain. Even minor weather or airport congestion delays could easily make your arrival too late. I am a former frequent flyer and I never book less than 60 minutes for a connection. I am also a former travel agent and would never book a 30 minute connection for a customer. I suggest looking up later flights out of Nashville. At least you'll know what alternatives you have if you don't make it.

You may make it, but are your luggages will?

It will be pretty tight but hopefully you are sitting in the front of the plane so that you can be one of the first passengers off. Because people are reaching for their bags in the overhead bins, that is what causes people to take so long getting off the airplane. Sometimes the flight arrives early to the airport and hopefully your flight departs on-time from PHL. If the gate for the flight to Vegas is close to your arriving gate, then you should be all right.
