I believe Vancouver observes Pacific Daylight Savings Time so therefore, there is a two time change being BNA ahead of 2 hours.

Yoy will have an AMAZING time in Nashville! I went there on vacation a few years ago and loved it! Make sure you go see a performance at the Grand Old Opry, you can go on a brunch or dinner cruise on the Memphis Queen (Riverboat), you can walk into almost any restaurant and hear live music just about any time of day (FANTASTIC! Throw a few dollars in their tip jar. Great talent!), there is the Charlie Daniels Museum, take a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery.....how is that for a start? Believe me, as a single guy, you will have a BLAST! ENJOY!!!

I love Southwest Airlines because they are almost always cheaper, the airline attendants know how to have fun, and they serve awesome honey roasted peanuts....plus if you sign up for their frequent flier miles you get tons of free drink coupons. For a no-frills airline that is cheap try Northwest Airlines.

You cannot beat Southwest for the prices. Check some travel sites like Kayak and Booking Buddy for deals. Also, call the hotel directly, often they will give you the best deal and remember they are able to "deal." Ask for specials, discounts for aarp, aaa, etc. or if they can meet those prices.
