For that one, try expeida.com, or aa.com (American). I'm not sure what your definition of cheap is, but heading to Rome is going to cost you a pretty penny! My advice if you want cheap flights, then work for an airline. I went to Moscow, Russia last summer from New Orleans. My total roundtrip was only $300 and that was just Intl. taxes that everyone pays

Try looking at Southwest.com They will get you out there for the cheapest and probably the fastest. No matter which carrier you choose, you'll have a connection.
